His early work was a real flash in the pan, unique soulful ballads that felt a lot more personal and grounded, all in the style of classic slushwave like telepath's early work yet entirely sample-free, now he's just making generic "experimental ambient" which has been done to death before. No longer do you get that same "I can't believe it's not sample-based!" feeling because it's now plainly obvious.
