it's been over a decade since I was way into Aesop Rock, but when I hear the name ASAP Rocky, it still sounds wrong.It's kinda like how there was that sketch show The Whitest Kids U Know, and for a long time it felt weird that another sketch show after Kids In The Hall would have Kids in the name.I can't be bothered to google it, but is the name ASAP Rocky a reference to Aesop Rock?
Obviously, aesop has way more cred at the roots of hip hop to, literally been around for decades and gone from scene to scene to scene. I miss snobby underground fans.
