it's been over a decade since I was way into Aesop Rock, but when I hear the name ASAP Rocky, it still sounds wrong.
It's kinda like how there was that sketch show The Whitest Kids U Know, and for a long time it felt weird that another sketch show after Kids In The Hall would have Kids in the name.
I can't be bothered to google it, but is the name ASAP Rocky a reference to Aesop Rock?

Obviously, aesop has way more cred at the roots of hip hop to, literally been around for decades and gone from scene to scene to scene. I miss snobby underground fans.
