It's like a pilgrimage to go see them, best part is talking to them after the show and then talking to other people at the concert. But to be fair, everytime I go to a concert alone. I end up creating a clique of 3-5 people and people end up assuming we came together even though we just met right there and then.

My strat is to wear a shirt that shows you're "in the know" a shirt only people at that concert would recognize, a shirt that you can't really wear as fashion, the kind of band shirt that if you ever spot someone wearing that you know their into a shit ton of music. The other day I went to a gig at one of those new experimental post-punk shows and everyone couldn't stop complimenting my CAN shirt and that led into many conversations.
