What are some folk artists that sound like the music in Inside Llewyn Davis? Folk from the period it's portraying sounds pretty different; Dink's Song as sung by Llewyn (not the inferior version with Mumford), for example, is very different (and much better) than any other version of the song by the likes of Dylan or Van Ronk. And modern folk is drastically different and is all soulless and flat, just faggots mumbling. At least from what I've heard.

I'd say check out the new Tapir! album. A bit more modern than anything here for sure, but I think Eidolon and Gymnopedie have similar vibes.
