I find myself cringing at his new music and asking myself "why did he just do/say that" throughout many of his songs. While I can listen to something like Relapse and still be impressed with the level of rhyming at display. Take that new LL Cool J song, I think Eminem's verse is pretty bad on that because he does these sloppy ass speedy flows you can hardly understand. Yet I can listen to something like the Fuel Remix and he sounds good/decent again. He's really inconsistent.

it’s odd that he seemed so credible when he appeared compared to the white rappers that came before or alongside him. of course the link with Dre helped, but I guess he also came across as authentic, being just a grimey white trash guy with a sense of humor, not trying to be flasher or cooler or tougher than he was.
