I fucking love it.

I was kinda ho hum on them for a while. Loved The Albatross since I was in college and going to shows and saw them play it live in a basement.

Dealer was ok but a disappointment in comparison

NMG was good but just didn't keep me coming back as much.

Draw Down The Moon leaned too into quirky safe poppy sounds to ever truly enjoy

But man the new album just fucking rips. Maybe my favorite album from any artist in years. I feel like it carries and evolves Brand New's (Daisy especially) qualities but also has some interesting production/electronic elements.

A 9/10 for me, only feel the it gets a little slow/unsatisfying towards the end. I think being more selective about the track order and maybe cutting/adding 1 song would have made it perfect for me

I don't expect much but I'll listen to it

Yea, it's not much different from the alternative slops I've listened to before

Fair enough, entitled to your opinion etc. For a point of comparison though what album have you enjoyed this year?

Mk. Gee - Two Star & the Dream Police
No skips, banger after banger, a perfect sequencing of songs, wouldn't alter the flow of the album at all, it's perfect. Can't even compare it to anything.
