I have picked up my guitar and figured out that DragonForce's Dawn Over a New World is in F Major. I figured out some of the rhythm notes myself, and then looked up a tab. The tab gave me enough notes to deduce that the song is in F Major. Perhaps it's a non-ionian mode of a different key, but I think F Major makes sense, and without any other considerations to base a different conclusion on, I conclude it is in F Major. The first rhythm chords are literally I IV V I.
