What punk should sound like.
Discharge rules
It's a great introduction to hardcore punk for thrash metal fans. Slayer are a perfect fit. >>124154359I could understand Ian if Slayer were all white and right-wing, but Tom is of Cuban descent...
>>124154177Best track on this cover album was only available as a bonus.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y_SHjIQ0MKw
>>124155333That just makes it sketchier if you understand the history of South America.
>>124156653That's tragic cause nobody covers GBH. I thought the best track on the album was the slow original that closes it.
>>124154177listen to more punk tourist

>>124154177Misfits reformed without Danzig and they still mogged 99% of punk bands.
>>124154177Lol no,Bad Brains,GISM,Cro-Mags,Agnostic Front,ANTiSEEN,The FUs,Charged GBH,The Exploited,Poison Arts,One Way System, and Rich Kids on LSD all played metal better than slayer ever played anything.
>>124158198Misfits are pretty good I will give you this. There were other similar like semi metallic 80s/90s metal punk bands that I would rate higher but they "sold out" for a reason, they were never fucjing green day. They genuinely WERE that good. Mostly collections 1 and 2 and Earth AD for me ig.
>>124158230>Mostly collections 1 and 2 and Earth AD for me ig.Same. It's funny.. It's probably the only band where the "Greatest Hits" is a requirement. They never made a proper LP besides Earth AD, and all the singles are better than the versions of Walk Among Us.But like I said, even without that, the Graves era is still than most punk. It's kind of sad.

>>124155333Tom Araya is from Chile. Dave LOmbardo was the guy in the band that was Cuban...
>>124158248One of a VERY small handful of bands where the diehard fans are the ones telling you to listen to a greatest hits compilation for sure yeah especially one that was released like ten years after (the original lineup was no longer a thing, they put it out in like the fucking 90s) but it's cool for sure.
>>124156653Why didn't they just put it on the album as a regular track?
>>124158280Yeah Google "Chile WW2" and get back to me lol.
