I was having a good time yesterday listening to the Christmas music on the radio when they throw this steaming pile of SHIT into the mix. I get that they occasionally have to insert some modern slop covers into the usual rotation of actually good music to attract the double digit IQ crowd, but this one in particular legitimately made me angry. It's at the same time the laziest and shittiest piece of music I've ever heard. It's stolen lyrics over a nauseatingly generic radio beat, combined with Ariana Grande's chipmunk voice (not to insult Alvin and the Chipmunks, who made some alright Christmas tunes). I can't believe there are people saying this lame excuse for "music" somehow gets them in the Christmas spirit, when it's the complete opposite of Christmas spirit. It is a major disrespect to the actual spirit of the season. Not only that, but it's also a major disrespect to George Michael, who wrote Last Christmas, one of the greatest songs of the modern era.
