wellll lets just say I had a psychotic break on weed that put me in an interesting situation once or twice. weed is my favorite substance so I'm not giving up on it, just going to have to be more responsible with it and identify my limits. I haven't had any doctors/counselors tell me to outright quit marijuana, most suggest I do it less frequently.
if you have any advice on weed I'm all ears here

as for booze I don't care for it much. don't like the taste (ik ik I'm a puss) and I get nauseous from it really easily. any time I set out to get drunk I usually give up halfway through

I think using it responsibly like your doctor says is the right thing. I'm glad you can do it at all because imo weed is the best drug for casual use.

psychs you'd need to plan out your uses (can't do it often or tolerance etc.)

ecstasy is only fake happiness you feel like shit on the comedown, and like psychs you need to use it very infrequently.

research chemicals are a mixed bag. some are fine but some will outright fuck you up for life so nothing lost there.

Weed, mushrooms and LSD can trigger latent psychosis but not create it. You would have ended up with the same symptoms by your late twenties/early thirties regardless, but using psychedelic drugs when you’re younger can trigger the onset as early as your late teens.

Less intense, doesnt last as long, but depending on dosage it can be PLENTY strong. Like, journey through time and space and meet God strong. Also done in a proper setting it can be helpful for therapy and depression. But ya, when mixing drugs maybe waitvuntil more research is done.
