I found this song on Youtube a while ago, I know the name of the song and some of the lyrics, but I can't find it again.It's a new wave / post-punk piece named "No Rain", it's got nothing to do with the Blind Melon song. The closest thing to a band name was something like "Sensitive Stance", I know the band name was alliterative with an 'SS'.The chorus went something like "No hurt, no pain, no tears, no rain" repeated twice. The song also opened with a prolonged "ra~ai~in" by a female vocalist. Most of the track was performed by a male vocalist outside of the chorus.
