What was this guys problem? He hated hippies, rightwingers, drug users (his main audience), and nearly every musician that wasn't himself HIs beliefs were almost as incomprehensible as his music
>>
he's just a lolrandom holds up spork loser. He was a nihilist and had no ideas. If you want ideas, look at bands like Can or Sleep Token.
>>
I hate him, but I don't know why though.
>>
>>124466163
And he was ugly and had a big nose, don't forget that
>>
>>124466163
Sleep token? Really?
>>
>>124466231
Zappa fans could never understand the emotion that goes into the singing in Sleep Token songs. It's transcendent. All accompanied by some of the most brutal riffs you'll ever hear.
>>
>>124466262
They should sing about eating piss snow and titties and beer instead
>>
>>124466150
most musicians have never stuck to their guns, unlike zappa
>>
>>124466286
yeah lol, Zappa is such a hack. Sleep Token songs are about things that actually relate to the human experience. Love, loss, heartbreak. There's one song in particular on their new album that reminded me so much of my long distance girlfriend that I literally cried the first time I heard it. Have you ever wept listening to Zappa? Probably not.
>>
>>124466323
People who cry don't have sex.
>>
>>124466337
I cry during sex and I'm secure enough in my masculinity to admit it. Granted, the sex mostly happens over discord. Zappa fans don't have sex, on or offline.
>>
>>124466351
I understand the real Nico Sperg has been gone for months but nu-Nico, this is the stupidest post yet. You're not even trying to be convincing at this point.
>>
>>124466361
If you listen to Zappa then you just don't know what it's like to have an emotional connection with a woman. That's fine, just don't pretend like you're having sex lol
>>
>>124466323
Titties and Beer are far more important to the human experience than all that fag shit
>>
>>124466150
He specifically wanted pseuds like you to find him incomprehensible
>>
>>124466401
Maybe when you grow up you'll start to appreciate real art with actual meaning. This is exactly what I hate about Zappa. It's just normie shit disguised as avant garde. I'd rather listen to something with sincere artistic expression. Like Sleep Token.

He was peak centrist. He was able to see how retarded hippies, feminism, and other lefty movements were, while at the same time calling out right-wingers for being a bunch of fascists and authoritarians.
>>
>>124466150
>Hated hippies
Not quite. He hated that the whole hippie subculture got commercialized. It's true that he didn't think much of "Hippies" after 1967, and thought the majority of them were just jumping on the band wagon.
>Hated right wingers
Thus proving you don't have to be right wing to be a conservative. (And, yes, Frank Zappa WAS a CONSERVATIVE)
>Hated drug users
Not necessarily. He just didn't use drugs, nor were anybody in his band were allowed to use drugs either while on tour or in the studio. (What you did on your own time was your business, though) And considering all the drug users he'd known throughout his life/career, is it an wonder why he might look down his nose at them? (And this is coming from a FZ fan that smokes pot, daily)
>And every musician that wasn't himself.
Frank Zappa preached individuality, and just wanted people to be themselves. What's wrong with that?
>>
>>124466150
I find it funny how much he and Lennon hated each other but they are essentially two sides of the same coin: Both raised in relative poorness with stunted childhoods that ended up making them astute but massively insecure egotisticals who didn't know how to handle emotions appropriately and hid behind masks
>>
>>124467243
Zappa didn't like Beatles much, but he didn't have anything against Lennon untill their show together. More specifically untill Lennon took a live recording from the show, perfomance of Zappa's King Kong, renamed it into Jamrag, put it on his album (Sometime in New York City) and gave writing credits to himself and Yoko but not Zappa.
He had every right to hate Lennon after this.
>>
>>124467684
Zappa was absolutely felted. Spends all this time intricately crafting this instrumental piece just for based John to call it a "jam" and tack it onto his album
>>
>>124466150
He was right about everything but also talentless, a deadly combination

fake nicosperg is an even unfunnier fag than the original
>>
I think it's funny zappa gets all the fame cause beefheart was the far superior wacko musician and knew how to lead a band to interesting territories
