What does /mu/ think of Scott Walker? Do you prefer his early albums (Scott 1–4) or his later, more experimental works?
I love the sound of Scott 4 (recorded at Olympic studios) but prefer the songs of 1-3. His later works are not my cup of meat.
>>124478226I prefer his early albums but his Pola X soundtrack is phenomenal. One of the most provoking things I've heard in years
>>124478226>What does /mu/ think of Scott Walker? Not much. I could just listen to Jacques Brel instead of his early albums, and I could just listen to actual avant garde music instead of his later albums, so why bother?
>>124479789Even if you're right, that still leaves Climate of Hunter as a great post-punk album.
>>124479789>I could just listen to Jacques Brel instead i mean, they are similar obviously, overall i think they are still pretty distinct sounding artists, i like both.
i love scott walker, he's one of my absolute favourites.all readily available albums are great. i just gotta sit and listen to the 70's shit
I LOVE his early albums. I don't care about his experimental albums.
