How do I get a growl out of my tele or les paul?

no pedals you mean tuning the buzzing you have to simply fine tune the stringshow flat or how sharp something is do it by ear not with a pedal
pull up on the strings and if you hear a buzz try to fine tune that by ear and it works the ninth fret is an area where things get difficult if you want to get good feedback do not pluck the strings too hard it is better with the fingers get to where your able to move the resonance around on the guitar and you will learn how to play chromatic you will hear a pitch it rings
that bass guitar do not use a bass amp you do not need that I learned that I used to have a bass amp it broke so I used the regular amp and the bass sound fine on it with thatwith bass you have to tune it differently it is heavier there is a sound to it
