Is it true that Metal is preferred and listened to by people with higher IQ? I'm listening to it a bit right now and I'm feeling stupid. When do I get smarter?
>>
Probably never.
I don't think there's a correlation with IQ.
I know absolute mouthbreathers that listen to metal and some above average guys as well (they are whiny black metal bitches though).

You have to listen to triumphant NSBM riffs to reap the benefits

Metal is a lame genre. Most of it is boring as hell, though there's some good stuff but most of it isn't. If that's a sign of a low IQ, I don't really give a shit. For me it's obscure quirky Power Pop.

Metal is the genre with the most in common with classical music. If mozart was alive he’d be a metalhead guaranteed

some pseuds try to claim metal is le smart man's music that is similar to classical, but the best metal is actually dumb caveman music with simply catchy riffs
