Why so many artists famous in the 60's had a come back into the limelight in the 80's after years in irrelevancy, or even the entire 70's?

John Lenon with Woman
George Harrison with I got my mind set on you
Roy Orbison with You Got it
Tina Turner with What's Love
Cher with If I Could Turn Back Time
John Foggerty from CCR with The Old Man Down the Road
Beach Boys with Kokomo
Rolling Stones with Start Me Up
Even Grateful Dead had one hit, and they were literal who's in the 60's

>what do you mean nostalgia was a thing in the 80s?

>Rolling Stones with Start Me Up
terrible example, in general though people get nostalgic for the decade before the last, so 50s in the 70s, 60s in the 80s...etc

Hey fatass! Here’s an idea for you: don’t mind the examples that you don’t like. Understand?? Maybe if you weren’t such a fucking Albanian queer you could understand English like the rest of us, you shithead—but instead you spend what little brainpower you have blasting the smarmy traditional music of your homeland. One more smart comment and I’ll knock your small Brazilian cranium right off. You cunt

70s was more rock oriented and those bands mostly crashed and burned in the 80s

a lot of acts will get 2nd winds as their fanbase grows up and becomes adults and become nostalgic for the music of their youth. They also introduce their kids to the music. Its the same with MCR and deftones becoming popular nowadays. Kiss also became popular again 20 years after their prime in the 90's for the same reason.
