Fuck you, I like it

It’s pretty good, just underwhelming for a song that was promoted as “the final Beatles song”. If they instead marketed it as a modest outtake from the Anthology sessions, it’s reception would’ve been warmer I think.

It’s a good John Lennon demo but my main issue with the “Beatles” version is that it just sounds like 80 y/o Paul McCartney’s latest musical sketch that he worked on out of boredom.

A remember listening to a fan-mix made a few years ago which was better than what Paul did. Wish I could find it. The "Beatles" version was just very underwhelming.

Production is a little too modern but it’s a good song. It has an interesting novelty value, hearing the Beatles across space and time. This board is generally much too cynical about these things.

It was the perfect last bow along with "Real Love" and "Free as a bird"

It's fine but Free as a Bird always felt like the actual proper conclusion to me. Legitimately sounds like a song made in their prime and has elements that feel like nods to all of their eras. The reversed audio at the end incidentally sounding like "Made by John Lennon" is just the icing on the cake.

the song is ok
the music video is very nice though
