What’s the deal with Vocaroo?
You click a link, and suddenly you’re hearing someone breathe directly into your soul through a potato.
“Hey man, just wanted to say…” SKKKKKKHHHHHH
What? What did you want to say?! Speak up, you’re being devoured by static!
And everyone treats it like it’s some sacred art form.
“Oh bro, the delivery doesn’t hit unless it’s on Vocaroo.”
Yeah, because the delivery doesn’t hit
it’s buffering halfway through your punchline!
And you can’t trust them, either.
Could be a confession, could be a meme, could be a guy eating chips into a $4 headset.
Every Vocaroo is like opening a mystery box of disappointment.

I'm just sad and disappointed. I had a feeling it was going to go this way today but I truly wanted to believe that something could happen. Its just impossible for me to carry a session because I'm not that good yet. I love my friend and I think he's a good guitarist when he's keeping himself sharp. Be more freeform. The majority of nonserious people don't want any rules or pressure. They can normally handle challenges though. Bait them into playing music instead of noodle slop. "Do you have any good riffs?" Then try to chain a few of those. "Can we play something that sounds X?" Like sad, eerie, happy, radio, whatever style. Just vamp on the first thing that comes to mind and hits the fretboard. Maybe "lets write a 10 minute Blink song" or some music you guys connect with. Give them structure without forcing them into a disciplined routine that they'll reject anyway.

Recording is nice that if you ever hit on something decent, parties might want to try to play the piece again or make it better.

But yeah I admit that right now it's just a very expensive slapback echo that's addding stereo dimension to my guitar, which I record in mono lol. Sometimes I even want th smaller one because it would be more convenient, but I like dub shit too and wanted the big one. There's so much BOSS gear that I want to get, a lot of it older. Idk how I became a BOSS head after using so many pedals in the past but I love the form factor and sounds.

He was more of an electrician. He started making PAs before any instruments. Then amps. The guys who were buying his amps were mostly country music guys at the time and they nudged him to make instruments too. He was clever enough to learn how to make steel guitars first (since it was what country dudes who wanted), then guitars. The afterthought product...that ended up being huge.

If you want a certain sound, or range of sounds, how do you tell if you need a certain type of electric guitar, or amp, or pedal/effect? Can you just keep buying/chaning effects to change the sound and use any guitar or amp?

is it true that for some asian cultures the minor key actually sounds happy rather than sad?
>>
>>128402789
imo the most important part of the amp is the speaker, but uncs will be hooked to vaporwave and tell you loads of BS about pedals and amp heads
with an EQ pedal, some distortion and a good speaker you can do almost everything, 99% of an amps character is actually the speaker and when you try out different speakers with the same amp head it really shows

You used to be able to buy guitars in shops that would let you play them first, in some cities this is still the case. If you're looking for an electric guitar with a flexible range of sounds, any of the Fender Jazzmaster style guitars like the Jaguar, Mustang, Jazzcaster and any others has a lot of different sound textures for the pickups on the bunch of switches all over the guitar, I had a Jaguar and would recommend it highly.

>I had a Jaguar and would recommend it highly.
Just did a quick search on guitar center and they list the Fender Jaguar, new, from $5,750 to $869. I cant play really so obviously the more expensive models are out, but what do you really get for a lot more money and how does that effect sound?
>>
>>128403113
Look for the Fender Squier edition of the same guitar. It's the same guitar only it says Squier in a bigger font than the Fender logo on the headstock, that's basically the major difference. It's less than $500

When I was like 12 or 13 I think I subconsciously told myself to never get a Telecaster as it was a sign of becoming an old fart. >>128405540
nta but start bulking, sissy
>>
>>128405540
That's your problem - you're ignoring useful input. The useful input is "lift more"
Do you want me to lay out the exercises you should do to improve your strength and stamina in your shoulders? Because I can do that.
You shouldn't try and minimize pain through making your load lighter - fundamentally, you should try to increase the loads you can carry - this will help you FAR MORE as you age. Take it from an oldfag - you hit 30 and if you aren't getting stronger, you're actively making yourself weaker.
I'm not saying this to be a cunt, I'm saying it because it's the true answer.
If you want to improve your stamina with a strapped guitar, your upper, middle, and lower trapezius and rhomboids are going to need strengthened. This will pya off dividends as you age.
I could genuinely give you a workout plan if you're not going to be a smarmy little cunt about it, because I genuinely do want to be helpful. But this is 4chan - if you can't stand to hear "don't be a bitch" when you're being a bitch why the fuck would you post here?

NTA but personally, Jags and Jazzmasters have a wider range of tone than Strats or Telecasters with the caveat that you get one with a rhythm circuit. They’re also more robust guitars, if I had to pick one guitar it would be a Jazzmaster with Jag as a close second. Another major selling point is the tremolo, the Jag/JM trem is the best trem for what I use a trem for. They can be finicky guitars if you don’t set them up properly (shimmed neck and raised bridge to get a better break angle for low action and increased tuning stability). They were designed to be Fender’s deluxe models and this remains to be the case to this day. They filter a lot of people and have gained a bad rep due to reddit queers adopting them as musical Funko Pops. That shouldn’t deter you, they are excellent guitars and are a great platform for mods.

Gary Greaser walked down the dark path off of bourbon st. The bass from the clubs oozing down the alleyway. He had his resonator in hand. Revolver in his waistband. He knocked on Leo Gauss's door. He let him in and led him to his laboratory. "So you think you can add built in plate reverb and a fuzz switch?" Gary tentatively asked. "I can do that, I'm also going to put in piezo pickups, and a realtime reverser. Midi pickups too, Gary. You're gonna love your tone", Leo said as he was rolling a huge joint. His pupil like saucers. "Leo man be careful, remember what they did to Syd...". "I can taste your thoughts Gary. I can feel the pain in you. But it feels beautiful"...

>>128406248
For me it’s the opposite, I like all the knobs and switches. They don’t get in my way and I actually use the rhythm circuit on both guitars and the treble cut on the Jags. People bitch about accidentally hitting switchs which I can see on a Mustang (just add spacers or buy low profile switches, simple as) but on Jags/JMs you have to be trying to hit them, have some care and precision for fuck sake. I definitely get the appeal of a Tele, I haven’t had one since I was a teenager and was too new to guitar to appreciate it, now over a decade later I can see really loving one once I find the right one. It’ll be a deluxe though, I have other guitars that cover twang well enough, twang really isn’t my thang DESU.
