up until 2003, MIM classic series bodies and necks were made in USA then shipped to Mexico to be assembled. if you upgrade the pickups they are pretty much an AVRI but with a poly finish.

I came up with a “new” tuning today.Basically, if you have a 12 string, tune the top 5 pairs in unison instead of octaves. (E2E2-A2A2-DD3-G3G3-B3B3-E4E4) Then, take the small bottom string and tune it to be to make a root 5 power chord (b2E2-A2A2-D3D3-G3G3-B3B3-E4E4)Now you can have a guitar drop tuned and in standard at the same time.For example, I’m currently tuned to C standard and drop C at the same time.
