Why do zoomer shoegaze fans seem to not like Ride very much? Is it because of the heavy 60s influence?

Shoegaze is a bad genre for people who steadfastly refuse to write songs and just want to jerk off over their faggot guitar pedals. The obsession over amassing a pedalboard and "crafting" their tone just to sound identical to every other band is basically the same thing as the hair metal/shred phenomenon. It's clear at this point that its few victories are total flukes.

I saw one (1) zoomer wearing a Going Blank Again shirt a few months ago. Which is more than any number of zoomers I've seen with Loveless or Souvlaki shirts
