Hello /mu/ I am in desperate need for recs for good but budget/entry level DAPs. I remember there used to be a general for them either here or on /g/ but /g/ is just wall to wall AI threads so I thought I'd ask here. Pic is the last thing I got from those generals ages back.
I could gift you a great double anal penetration for free. Don't need to pay for DAPs when I'm around.

>>130266965>>>/g/108756611This is the general you are looking for. Post 2016 there was one for headphones and Portable Music Players, but they are combined to in-ear monitors and PMPS. Upon quick inspection, they don't even give the charts with recs/specs anymore.> The times are a changingI had a iPod classic back in 2012 with rockbox, but it kept fucking up. So I got a sasa clip+ ,but it was too small and the battery died. While rockbox is good when it bugs out its a pain in the ass to get everything back if you are not organized (I use to distro hop a lot.) it is best to stick with the stock firmware, not updated and ideally not able to connect to the internet. Tried the phone, but they battery drained too quick and I don't like having all my eggs in one basket. I took a chance got a NWA50 from one of the older charts of your pic related and i have been happy ever since. Though there are some "problems" with it, no search is the biggest, but I knew before hand. At the time wanted something entry level, simple and light weight. You will get more help in the general I linked, for whatever reason headphone/PMP discussion has always been sparse on /mu/. Just let them know what you are looking for and what you have used before.
>>130269798I must have looked over this a dozen times, could have sworn it was called /dac/ or something. Thank you friend.
>>130266965Hiby R3 Pro, another anon already recommended Sony NW A55, maybe go for NW A45. Cowon plenue D2 or D3 just on the chance you can find one. All of these are quite small, with good, even killer /Cowon/ battery life. If you want something even smaller, try Shanling M0 Pro and maybe Hidizs AP80.
>>130269798>>130270019DACs (Digital Audio Converters) are for your PC to get the most out of audio. There was a general for DACs back then, but not anymore. It’s Hi-Fi(delity)/Audiophile stuff. If you are looking for an entry level Portable Music Player don’t bother with them, especially if you are listening primarily to loosy audio formats.
>>130270136These are a little rich for me right now but damn, good selection, noting them down, thanks.>>130270159I've had pretty good experiences with FiiO and Mechen stuff to play my FLACs, but models change so quickly.
