does anyone still use a 50ccm scooter I use a Piaggio Typhoon just like this one from 1994
>>2022150No, 125 cc is the minimum nowadays.
>>2022150I have a Vespa PK50 from 1986 with a 85ccm piston and longer gearing because the 50cc one sucked balls. Now i can swim comfy with the traffic and with a lower Rpm so it doesnt scream as much.I love my little scoot bros.
>>2022150plenty of them in Italy, where they require a low status license and registration to circulate and can be driven by >14 years old.
Just bought my first 50cc ever, it's a lot of fun and good for errands. 2004 Yamaha Zuma. I like yours too!
>>2022423cute. how do you like it? did you have to do any work on it yet?
>>2022656I like it a lot, makes running around town a lot more enjoyable. Only thing I might need to fix in the foreseeable future is the throttle being a little loose.
>>2022695how much for it? did you need to get a license and plates etc? thinking of buying one.
>>2022695>>2022729forgot to ask, how do you prevent someone from stealing it. looks very easy to just hop on and ride away.
>>2022729>>2022731I paid the previous owner $1000 for it. Licensing depends on location but in my state I don't need to register it/get a motorcycle license because it's only a 50cc. Best option to prevent theft would be a garage but since I have an apartment I just lock it up with a chain similar to this one.
>be me >ride a honda zoomer to work and to weekend excursions >never late>never stuck in traffic>always have a raincoat waterproof pants and boots in the under carriage so only my hands and face get wet>only use my car when i have to carry a lot of stuff/people>spend $4 on gas per weekScooterbros...I love life
I own a 2017 Kymco Agility 50Love this little nigga
If I wanted to ride something with that small displacement then I would just ride a motorized bicycle because where I live they are treated to the laws governing bikes instead of motor vehicles. So no registration, no insurance, not even a license is necessary, and I can ride them in the bike lane without getting shit. Yet because they are lighter they tend to have more zip when puttering around making them more fun to ride imo. The main downside is they tend to need a lot more maintenance and usually something you put together yourself, so mechanical skills are a must.
>>2024868lucky enough to live somewhere that doesn't require anything for a 50cc scooter.
Hi guys I got a question. I was planning on selling my car and getting either a 50cc scooter or a 125cc motorbike (I'm partial to the cafe racer style). Now I live in the city with no garage. So how do you deal with rain and snow when riding and storing the bike? Is a bike cover enough? And is riding in rain and snow alright?
