It is said that if you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem. Are you one of the good ones, /n/? Do people say you're not like those other cyclists?
You are inventing scenarios in your head to get mad at again.
>>2028001rent fucking freeeeee lmfao
where I live there are these two archetypes yes, but the pictures are reversed....or maybe its that both those doodles belong in "dont respect" and the only normal people are the ones who got into cycling more through the recent gravel bike explosion, they are by the only normal ones where I live.
>>2028013>where I liveAnd where is that?
>>2028001Im the top one literally but without being gay and having 20k worth of bikes in my shed. I dont even talk about bikes with my normie friends because i know that they dont give a fuck
i dont respect anyone
Why do Cagies get so upset when you call out their objectively immoral means of travel? I hate bikers more than anyone, but cagies shouldn't be treated like humans.
>>2028036>Sucking a natural resource from deep underground, cooking it until it separates, and burning one of two forms of the product (gas or diesel) in metal boxes designed to keep people safe and comfortable is somehow immoral
>>2028036Are the "Cagies" in the room with us right now?
We really not more agressive jannys or a containment board for you urban planning faggots.
>>2028059is the urban planning in the room with you right now?
>>2028032suburban texas, the degenerate fixie youth and 40 yr old alcoholics on BMX bikes are contained to the urban cores, people here arent that "into the culture" like you see in SF/PNW/NYC so theyre not THAT annoying and niche, theyre mostly just kinda gross looking. The roadie group ride addicts are all quite mentally ill, they do not act like normal human beings and they do make cycling their entire personality. They're very insular, not friendly to new people. If you want to get *in* with them you have to show complete devotion to the crew. They have no other non cycling friends or interests. I am cool with a few of them but when I run into them in a group setting with the whole 'crew' they are suddenly very autistic and like can't even look you in the eye. They're a weird bunch.
>>2028066No but it's on my board.
>>2028076this is not your board.
>>2028039>>2028048Cagies that kill pedestrians should be given the death penalty. That would solve the cagie question overnight.
>>2028137How many miles?
>>2028001I don't respect any man that wears a helmet. Period.
my only source of personal transportation is my bike, ive never owned a car nor driven one on my own becuase im a 33 year old autistic loser. got my license at 26, never used it20 year old 27 speed cannondale road bike, my only bike i owni dont wear spandex, just a t shirt and shorts and a backpacki only bike alone, never with others or in a groupthe most "cyclist" thing i have is probably my rack and pannier bags i always stop at stop signs and red lights, but for red lights, ill go through it after stopping if theres no cars around
>>2028232cannondale is racer tier so you're in the first category, especially if you're an autist and therefore not doing it for fashion reasons
>>2028232Holy shit anon your life sounds horrible
>>2028230>Cagies are a symptom of a satanic force driving us off of a cliff.you are mentally ill or a troll. you aren't owning anyone and you aren't contributing. it's just kinda sad.
>>2030992>burning 44 gallons of crude oilNothing burns crude oil, it's refined into products including gasoline.
>>2030993>staggering energyYes it's a marvel of human innovation how I can move 4000 lbs 24 miles at 70 miles per hour on just one gallon of gasoline, and there are vehicles even more efficient than mine. The energy density of gasoline is an amazing and beautiful thing. Also, see >>2030994

if you aren't confident enough in your riding that you need to wear a helmet, you should NOT be biking

>>2038534So you know how there's a subset of the population who lives in constant fear that there is an invisible transgender lurking under every toilet seat waiting to pop out and, I don't know, force them to smoke estrogen-laced weed or make them listen to Charlie XIX or whatever? That's how the REEEE CARS REEEEE people sound. Like I get it you clicked on the wrong thing maybe by accident maybe out of curiosity, and now your personal algorithm is 100% focused on stoking your rage over this totally random thing that was never an issue until you decided to make it your personal vendetta, but actually, to normies, you just sound crazy.

>>2028157never got an answer on this
>>2028036Umm what's a cagie
i dont belong to either group really. i dont own a car and only use a bike because of autism. but i dont have any special bicyclist gear like spandex or anything like that. i also dont really talk about bicycling at all, or rage against car drivers or anything like that. the most i do is just joke about having "the best parking" if i go somewhere that i can bring the bike inside or keep right next to me. i just have a road bike, have a rack on it with a few saddle bags in case i pick up something or put my backpack in one of them

I don't know any on even an acquaintance level, but maybe I just don't associate with the kinds of people who drive like shit.>>2028232Similar to me too anon. Not the same, but similar. Difference is I'm an autistic winner. And I like bike stuff so I have several (only one I bought from a store) and customized my shit pretty hard and wear nice loose athletic clothes on them.>>2038695His point is the people who screech about how much they hate cars are like the vegans who screech about people eating meat or the cuckservatives who constantly bitch about trannies or the lefties paranoid about nazis.>>2031277I came back due to a misclick. >>2043123>How many individuals do you personally know that have ever hit a pedestrian with their car?holy shit I know this board is retarded but you are actually arguing based on anecdotes when the data is literally seconds away on google https://www.nsc.org/newsroom/nsc-estimates-over-44,000-traffic-deaths-in-2024
>>2028229What if I put on a cute skirt first

>>2054689Being passionate about something doesn't require you to be a dick about it to everyone elseIn fact I would mind being a dick about it less than what they're really like which is acting all accepting and all bikes are valid, except if it's a bike that looks fast in which case you're a jerk if you have one
