Do you hear that popping noise in the distance?
It's the sound of libshits imploding

Elon Musk Gets $25 Billion Richer As Tesla Stock Rides Earnings To 21% Rally

The world’s richest person got much richer Thursday as Tesla CEO Elon Musk enjoyed a major rally for Tesla stock after the electric vehicle company’s latest earnings report encouraged Wall Street.
>>
Tesla’s share price spiked more than 21% by 3 p.m. EDT, building on the massive off hours trading surge.

That came as investors reacted positively to the big third-quarter profit beat, the most cash generation in eight quarters and several encouraging tidbits shared by Musk on the accompanying analyst conference call, such as a prediction for up to 30% vehicle delivery growth in 2025, reversing this year’s 2% year-over-year delivery decline through the first three quarters.

The earnings report “reminds us growing the auto business profitably remains a high priority for Tesla,” wrote Morgan Stanley analyst Adam Jonas, alluding to prior concerns about Tesla’s shrinking profit margins as it emphasizes self-driving car initiatives.

Forbes Valuation
The rally added $24.8 billion to the fortune of Tesla’s largest shareholder Musk, whose lead as the wealthiest person alive grew to more than $55 billion, according to our calculations.
Surprising Fact
Thursday is on pace to be Tesla stock’s best day since May 9, 2013.
Chief Critic
Despite the overwhelmingly positive stock reaction, this wouldn’t be a Tesla event if it wasn’t polarizing. Bernstein analyst Toni Sacconaghi slammed Wednesday’s earnings call as “more akin to a pep rally” than a typical meeting, noting the company took an unusually light two questions from sell-side analysts covering the stock.
Big Number
$140 billion. That’s about how much market capitalization Tesla added Thursday. The rally turned the stock’s year-to-date performance from a 14% loss through Wednesday to an almost% gain.

Musk reportedly received a letter from the Justice Department warning his pro-Donald Trump political action committee may be breaking federal law by awarding $1 million to certain swing state voters, as Musk becomes one of the biggest political donors this election cycle with his backing of the GOP candidate Trump.

Do you hear that popping noise in the distance?
It's the sound of rightards imploding at liberals laughing at a retard and that which started this thread
So rightards love electric cars, which is the reason why a retard has the blue albatross that is Xitter round its neck, is a Brazilian judge's bitch, and was forced to say 'How High?' when Xinping ordered it to Jump for that Tesla Gigafactory in China: the price of Xitter denied the right to exist in that country.
And when X was denied the right to exist in Brazil and Muskrat bent over to that judge, the EU smell blood. After all, if a bigger company than Tesla was forced to say 'How High?' re. USB C in the iPhone 15 when Brussels ordered Apple to Jump, Elon is nothing to governments.
And the pointing & laughing at Musk continues.
>>1356004 loves electric cars and a so-called 'billionaire' that gets subsidies. Republicans are Democrats after all. >>1356004 is worthy of being pointed and laughed at as well.

Proof that you're a mindless dumbfuck CHUD. Musk didn't found SpaceX. He bought the company. You're literally cum guzzling billionaires based on fake news because a New York billionaire trust fund baby convinced you to. Re-examine your life.

Who gives a fuck? Dude is a trust fund baby who hired a bunch of engineers to make rockets. I have no clue where conservatives get this brainrot hero worship narrative from that Elon is some sort of genius.
>>
>>1356099
>Anon, I shouldn't have to point this out but this is how business works.
You're correct - this is what needs to be pointed out to right-wing cultists. Lets skip the part where we first acknowledge the incredible hypocrisy of conservatives making fun of Democrats for being the "party of big corporations" just to turn around and deep throat the richest man in the world just because he supports Trump. These are the people that in this very thread are venerating Musk as some kind of science genius because he owns SpaceX - like he's personally in the lab designing electric cars and rockets. Its the same hero worship they have for Trump - a billionaire trust fund baby who inherited 400 million dollars then continued on to lead a life of abject business failure. Conservatives have adopted this delusion that having money somehow makes one smarter and better than others when the reality is that Musk and Trump are both some of the dumbest fucking people to ever walk the earth.
>>
>>1356105
>And you're very butthurt about that, in public for all to see. It's fun to see pure seething rage.
Sure, anon, everyone who disagrees with you is butthurt and raging. What a great way to avoid ever having to make a coherent argument.

>Tell that to the hillbillies, redneck, and flyover states.
Yeah, they're very low IQ. They're the proverbial "temporarily embarrassed millionaire".

>And if you were rich enough you'd be the leader of the dumbass triad. I mean, look at your fucking posts.
I can't seem to find an argument anywhere in your inane ramblings.

So, to summarize, you don't have a single reason why anything I said is wrong. Like a small child, all you have is name calling and "like wow ur so mad bro". Not a single coherent adult thought in your head. Got it. Thanks for your input.

Liberals (Biden) are currently the ones ensuring Tesla has no competition from China, namely from BYD. Because if Americans could buy a good electric for $20k, and competitive-with-Tesla electrics for $40k, Tesla would probably be in trouble.

Pete Buttigieg will tell you that driving an electric will save the planet, and the Biden administration will tell you electrics should be mandatory by 2035, but then they won't actually allow robust ev competition that would help far more Americans buy an electric.

I guess the "drive an electric to save the planet" narrative is actually just marketing bullshit and nonsense from politicians who take lobbying bux. If it were actual critical to solving global warming, they'd want everyone to have one as soon as possible.
>>
>>1355996
Just read the report. They made $739 million from selling regulatory (carbon) credits. Not only are liberal leaders not imploding -- their policies are what enabled Tesla to have such a profitable quarter.

Imagine taking political theater seriously.

None of what you're saying really matters to these people. Conservative minds have been completely taken over by hero worship and populist programming. Strongmen and charismatic leaders are all they look for, not any tangible leadership or value structure. Its the only way you can explain conservatives thinking that Trump, a trust fund billionaire, life long Democrat from New York with dozens of bankruptcies, ex-wives, porn star mistresses, rape allegations, lawsuits and failed businesses under his belt somehow represents the American "every man". They're children looking for a shiny, loud cartoon character to guide them through the world.

>Herp derp, tent behind starbucks, herp derp
/pol/ truly isn't sending their best and brightest. Also, the whole point is that Trump is not successful. He inherited his money and his business and has failed at almost every venture he's ever tried. Not only has he failed, he's been sued for half of them being blatant scams. You've been convinced Trump is successful because you're low IQ and you're entertained by shiny things like a monkey.
>>
>>1356298
>Trump is not successful. He inherited his money and his business and has failed at almost every venture he's ever tried.
Considering he's a billionaire and didn't inherit a billion dollars, his *much* more successful than you and your empire of tents

>Considering he's a billionaire and didn't inherit a billion dollars, his *much* more successful than you and your empire of tents
Your comparison makes no sense and has no bearing on my criticism. A beetle is stronger than an ant. That doesn't make a beetle strong, anon. Trump may have more money than me and a lot of people but that doesn't make him a successful businessman. In the arena of businessmen Trump is an utter failure. Six bankruptcies, almost a dozen failed businesses, half of which ended in lawsuits against him for either defrauding his investors or his customers (see Trump University). Trump is dogshit at business. His businesses, in the 90's and 2000's was himself. The "Trump" brand. The giant tower. Golden toilets, the "playboy" image and leasing his name to put onto buildings he didn't own. Every time he started up a business that relied on him running it he failed. Bankrupt. Without his dad's inheritance and his reality TV deal that revived his relevancy he's more or less on par with your average used car salesman.

>>1356301
>What's yours? I'd say trump is more successful than you, no matter how you try to cope that you not dying yet from your fentanyl addiction is a huge success
Trump having more money than me doesn't indicate any level of business prowess or success, anon. Lets not pretend like simply having money makes someone special or successful in way that should be admired. There's a guy on YouTube who eats expired stuff he finds at Goodwill and vomits it up on camera that's worth several million dollars. The Hawk Tuah girl has her own brand deals and podcast, okay? Please don't sit here and pretend like retarded people being rich and famous isn't an exceedingly common American trope.
