Can anyone give me the reason why Biden didn't step down when he dropped out of the race? It would have given Harris a big advantage, assuming nothing drastically bad happened in the couple months of her 'leadership.'The only thing I can think of is that there's a rift between the two, Biden doesn't want her to win, and/or he couldn't trust Harris to pardon Hunter Biden before leaving office, so he had to stay in to do it himself.
