Down from 25%, lowest level in 3 years. Crazy how right wing government are always better for the people and left wing governments are only better for the (((banker))) class

>When he took office in December, monthly inflation surged to 25%

Um... anon?
>>
>>1362160
It is down from where he started. But then again it's also down from like 200% to 198%. We'll have to see how his changes pan out long term.
>>
>>1362160
so according to you, inflation is a lagging indicator and the president doesn't control it so it isn't biden's fault though biden lowered it, but this mexican guy who was sworn in on december 10th instantly caused 25% inflation the day he was sworn in?
>>
>>1362162
I said nothing of the sort. The article made me curious of Argentina's inflation trends so I looked it up and immediately noticed that spike. Neither OP nor the article discuss it.

I can charitably assume it's the early effects of the new administration's attempts to curb inflation but for all I know it may be nothing of the sort. I'd have liked to see an informed opinion.

inflation was 200% the day he took office
https://www.reuters.com/world/americas/argentine-libertarian-milei-take-presidency-with-economic-crisis-focus-2023-12-10/
and news reports said that December was 25% inflation 4 days after he took office
https://finance.yahoo.com/news/argentina-inflation-end-210-stay-155338956.html
and the left wing piece of shit he replaced was so bad even Wikipedia says he was a fuck up

>BUENOS AIRES, Argentina (AP) — Argentina’s poverty rate jumped from almost 42% to 53% during the first six months of Javier Milei’ s presidency, the statistics agency reported Thursday, a steep rise reflecting the pain of the country’s most intense austerity program in recent memory.

kirchnerist administrations are known for underreporting shit
in 2015 they straight up stopped measuring poverty as it was "stigmatizing"
