Kinda Trump's charm point, really. He's human. Most politicians and CEOs are almost reptilian. Like everything they say is carefully crafted by a committee to piss off the least amount of people. In order for the USD to retain it's role as the world reserve currency, the US must run a deficit in order to keep dollars offshore to countries who run a surplus. If those dollars come back to the US, they will immediately oversaturate the money supply and cause massive hyperinflation.
