Neither looks particularly good, I don't get the hype over the new Prius. It still looks like a Prius and Toyota's new styling language with the C headlights is weird.

Why does the LE get 57/56 mpg while higher trims get 52/52? Same with other hybrids, with higher trims having worse fuel economy. Overall weight? Wheels?

By being Japs appealing to American retardation. I had to work on a customer's Toyota today and was reminded why I'll never fucking buy one. Hands still hurt, all scraped up just from changing the headlights which is a 2 hour job on those pieces of shit. Trans fluid had to be pumped in from underneath, what a shitshow. They purposely design these heaps to be near impossible to service. Suspension has completely given out with blown strut noise but he says he can't afford to fix that yet. Engine air filter was bent leaving an exposed hole so the poor fuck's engine has been being fed raw unfiltered air...

It's a tragedy that we even got to OP in the first place.

The sharp body lines and "sportish" impressions inspired by aerodynamics started as a way of indicating to customers that the car has a "sporty" feel, but now most people settle for a prius being enjoyable enough to fart in and eat burgers in, because that was all that really ever mattered to 99% of people.

Matrix chads stay winning. They literally pulled out the Second Gen Matrix design (which wasn’t well received back in the day) out of the old workshed and tweaked it for the latest gen stuff.

This is the prettiest, fastest, most comfortable, and most fuel efficient car I have ever owned. Also the most reliable. Maintenance costs however are surprisingly high relatively. Tires cost a fortune on this for some reason.

That's kinda sad anon. I don't hate the Prius, in fact it's my go to recommendation for anyone who wants anything with a transverse engine and no clutch pedal. And I know the new one isn't the embarrassment the old ones were speed wise. But still, you've never had anything faster? You should plan to keep that Prius a long while, and once you're in a place to do so comfortably keep the Prius as a practical daily and buy a toy with no regard to reliability or fuel economy to have some fun with.
