I’ll start with mine. If I get the all of the know-how and the money, I am going to build the most American Toyota ever.

I’ll start off with a Pontiac Vibe, the GM reskin of the Toyota Matrix that was built in California.

I will replace the 2zz with an LS engine, pair it with a proper GM transmission. Maybe I can get a drive shaft and rear diff from a Toyota Caldina and maybe that will work idk but I want to make this happen. I am also well aware of how retarded this idea is. I don’t care. If I get the means, this is happening.

This will be the most American Toyota ever.

Now, what are your retarded ideas Anons?

I know LS engines are small but can one even fit in a Corolla engine bay?
>>
>>27595531
Are you talking about making a transverse v8 matrix/vibe? Why would you even go with an ls? A honda j series would be better to package and already has the awd equipment ready and a manual trans that can take it. The last thing I want would be a vibe gt with a ls4 and 4t65e under the hood with some bullshit frankensteined transfercase system

As I said, this will be the most AMERICAN Toyota ever and I already have owned the fact that it is a retarded idea. I don’t care.

Only one way to find out, Miata owners find their ways so how hard can it be
>>
>>27595613
Miatafags have the advantage of having longitudinal engines. The Corolla is longitudinal and this looks cramped as-is with the 1.8L I4.
>>
>>27595620
Meant to say the Corolla is transverse

you mean transverse
toyota did make a v6 corolla. maybe you could do a transverse v8 lol
>>
>>27595554
This conversion would really mean a custom chassis with the external Vibe sheet metal and not much else attached, like a NASCAR vehicle.

OP is clearly a wrenchlet since even a patient poorfag could manage that. Not knowing custom rear axles are easily affordable is a clue so if you really want this become a non-wrenchlet and learn to MIG weld. Expect to build at least one for practice.
>>
Not sure what I'd put it into, but this company makes Twin Turbo Hayabusa V8 engines. Any suggestions?
>>
>>27595531
Forget the LS and use one of those shitty 3.8 v6s. Use the supercharged one that makes less power than competitors n/a engines that's super american. Don't forget the shitty 4 speed auto.

Something very light for the track. Motorcycle based engines like that have short lifespans due to smaller bearings and lightweight components.
>>
>>27595632
Yeah admittedly so far I only know how to do typical maintenance and simple repairs. I want to learn what I need in order to move forward with this dream, that is my intention.

>B5.5 Passat V6 wagon
>B5 A4 drivetrain
>B6 A4 V6 crank
>bore out 2.7TT block to match 2.8 NA big port heads (or machine the extra features of the 2.7TT into the 2.8 block, either works), makes a 3.0l setup with the B6 crank
>JHM RS6-R turbos
>B5 RS4 or similar big-port intake manifold
>the beefiest brakes that will fit behind stock-ish steelies
>quiet exhaust with a small fake tip poking out from under the bumper
>Skoda Superb door cards for that neat built-in umbrella compartment
Very easy actually, as long as you have a B5 Passat shell and a B5 S4 or C5 Allroad donor car, have a big enough, well-equipped workshop, and are retarded enough to blow stupid amounts of money on a fucking Passat.

Crown Vic Ranchero.

Take a Police Interceptor Vic, raise the suspension and do the offroad bit on it then have the big ass trunk converted into a small truck bed like a less gay Ford Maverick.

I want to build my LS400 into a 10 second full interior sleeper. Ideally the only tells should be the wheels and sound. Either a procharger or turbo, fully built 1UZ VVTI and A340 in a UCF10. Haltech electronics, Bosch ABS, AC, power steering, Wilwood brakes, supra big diff swap, E85 tune. 7-800WHP. I want a grandma car that can embarrass pony cars.

My plans for my 7th gen cica are to lift it, put some truck tires on it to make it an off-road machine. Eventually I'd like to mod the body to be more squarish like a classic Celica.

Long term after the current stock engine blows I want to upgrade it to something more powerful and install a tow hitch.

I know I could just buy a truck but that's less fun.

Tucked away in the corner of the basement of the Studebaker national museum is a prototype of a boxy cabover pickup truck they were developing for 1966 that they never finished because the company folded while it was still being developed.
It's a longtime dream of mine to get a chassis for an old Chevy Van and a bunch of sheet metal fabrication tools and make an exact replica that I can drive around and use.

Buy blown up 3.6 accadias and put 3.4s in them, sell to unsuspecting soccer moms for profit

Use a diesel continental crossmember and driveshaft to facilitate a aluminum 4.0 rover swap into a foxbody

Use an 84-86 cherokee 904 to facilitate an ls4 swap into any FR application

Use a xlr 6l80 to facilitate a ls4 swap into any fr application (morosso 4t80 pan)

Put a 2 bulb fairmont nose on a foxbody hatchback, volvo T5R + T5. Have some fun with lots of fibreglass and filler. pretend you have a swb B2. Bonus points for not having B2 understeer.

Cut all the subframes off an A body wagon, cut the B pillar out, fit the door frame to door of a 2dr A body. Mount on shortbed s10 frame (matches wheelbase perfectly)

Buy 4x4 2dr lwb 99-04's, swap 92-14 van bodies onto the frame (same 138" wb). Sell 4x4 vans to retards who think thats practical. Sell 2wd trucks to retarded spics who cant tell you suck at welding

H25a swap into na/nb miata

>M120
>E320 CDI drivetrain
>EV conversion
>Strip interior and manual swap it for a drift missile

Mercedes M104 mid engine rwd Focus (I have a spare M104)
M104 powered speedboat
Supercharged Chevy Express/GMC Savanna
