The fact that they snuck in the SS with no advertising, no unique options, and honestly doing nothing with the car is why the Dodge Charger beat in sales, performance, and popularity. Dodge Charger SRT? Give America a version of the HSV GTS-R with 577hp and call it the Chevy SS Plus or something. Waste of an excellent car. Even England got the Vauxhall VXR8 with 577hp before the brand sold to PSA.

All 2015-17s were equipped with magneride, which was never available on any Holden badged cars (except for the very limited end of production Motorsport editions and Calais V Director) It's kind of in between the SS-V Redline and the HSV Senator, having the HSV magneride with the center console mode dial, an LS3, and the bi-modal exhaust, but the styling and Brembo calipers of the Holden.
