Updated the T7 collage.
I know there are more Tennys around here so post up!
All these different sizes and aspect ratios makes it tricky to get them all to fit together.
I could just crop them 1:1 and make them the same size and arrange them into a grid.
That's kinda boring though.
Also should make some sorta border. Any ideas? I could copy the bingo sheet.
>>

Forget borders you need to figure out which anime girl represents each rider then Photoshop her into their pic, bonus points for adding a shadow.

How do I get into hooligan racing? I keep trying to find info on the websites for different tracks and shit that are part of the circuit but these websites are made by fucking tech illiterate boomers and they're full of dead links and I can't get any info. I keep seeing videos of these cool impromptu hooligan races where guys just show up on whacky shit and race and have fun, but I don't understand where people are learning about these events.

I don't have any delusions of racing professionally or something, I just want to find a dirt track where I can bring a modded Sportster or something and do fun shit in the dirt

I'm referring more to the hooligan stuff in the dirt though, I know a lot of the super hooligan races are on pavement but most of the amateur hooligan racing I've seen has all been dirt, sometimes with a small paved section. And in any case the track days stuff doesn't help me much since I live out in the sticks and the nearest motorcycle race track to me is like 2-3 hours away
>>
>>27636924
Sorry I know nothing about the hooligan in the dirt stuff.

Search up dirt oval tracks in your area, and go through their sites one by one. A couple days ago I made a list of almost every track within a couple hundred miles. kind of a pain even with google maps. You talking about flat track?

>>
>>27637001
Yeah, like I said I'd like to eventually do hooligan stuff where there's twists and sometimes some light jumps and shit, but I'd settle for just having a dirt oval that I can go fast and left on. That's the main thing I'm getting at is that I'd like to learn how to handle a tracker like that, but where I live I don't really know of too many dirt trails around me. I've taken my ADV bike down some forestry roads and practiced power sliding and shit but there's a big difference between going in a straight line and turning, I just want to practice those kinds of things and maybe eventually do some amateur racing when I feel comfortable

Northern Indiana, it blows around here for any kind of motorcycling shit that isn't boomers on hogs. There's tons of race tracks scattered around the Midwest but from what I can tell almost all of them cater exclusively to four-wheeled shit, I've been combing through directories of like every dirt race track in Indiana/Michigan that I can find and I have yet to find a single one that has flat track events

kek thanks, my friend. Besides for some things to get it back to oem and replacing some consumables, it doesn't need much healing. It's practically brand new.

>>
>>27637085
Maybe, I'm starting to wonder if maybe it doesn't have something to do with liability/insurance purposes. I imagine just opening up your race track to a bunch of drunk idiots on suped up sportsters is probably a recipe for a lot of hospitalizations so maybe the smaller race tracks just don't have enough money for the insurance for that kind of thing. Or maybe they're just fags, idk. I know there's some dirt tracks on the other side of Illinois/Wisconsin that do flat track but I'd really prefer not driving like 6 hours just to practice turning left in the dirt

If you have no debt and some savings to blow, and nothing to keep you where you are, buy a tent and a duffel bag and ride across the country. Only place to go is up. It's May, perfect month to start a vision quest. I wasn't in as bad of a situation as you but I was hating my own existence a couple years ago. Thought back to probably the third 4chan screencap I had ever seen, some anon talking about the concept of "if you have nothing to lose, you basically have freedom to try anything." I had no interest in skydiving or fucking STD-ridden mexican whores, but I did put on 12,000 miles all across the US and ended up moving my whole life halfway across the country. Got a better job, got a steady girl for the first time ever, and I like the location better. If you got laid off/fired you can even file for unemployment and the government will subsidize some of your trip.

A shitter and sometimes a shower was a nice luxury but if you get that done ahead of time/on the road/skip it for a day (dry shampoo helps with bad hair in the morning), find a state/national forest, read the state's laws on dispersed camping, or just in general find somewhere remote enough to quick throw a tent down on somewhere that you know isn't private property and hopefully don't get woken up by some ranger with a stick up their ass. NO FUCKING CAMPFIRES outside of a fire pit in a paid site, both for stealth and to preserve the land. Do not damage more of our beautiful country.

As someone who lives in Canada that is so strange to think about. My province is larger than the UK and would probably cover most of western Europe. And there is basically two major cities in that whole area and one is shit not worth going to.
>>
>>27637381
When you're living off the bike, it adds up. I'd bring 75% of it again. I've gotten better at packing the tent smaller, most of the bulk is the tent, the "hipster bedroll" as I call it, actually called the Wingman of the Road. It's a tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, and groundsheet all in one and it takes up the whole rear rack. Saddlebags 15L each, left side contained a week's worth of shirts, socks, underwear, one long sleeve as a warming layer, one pair of shorts to wear at camp or while I washed my riding jeans, a small towel, and a small toiletries bag. Right side was rain gear, water and some Clif bars and sandals. Backpack strapped to seat was more water and an emergency toolkit. Big tank bag was gloves and maps. Keep in mind it's a not a big bike, either.
>>27637388
I checked into a motel and brought out the shitty old tablet I brought along and fired out 40+ job applications. Bombed a couple interviews but got one that fit perfectly. I actually don't work at the place that hired me anymore, but I left them on good terms.

nta but i use ultralight camping gear- bivvy, tarp, bag and pad. there is literally no reason not to in this year of our lord 2024. inb4 price, just buy it from china

That's what I was thinking as well, Wonder if you could get away with just a bivvy but the rain would probably be killer.

nah you really need a tarp to put your gear under and to avoid getting soaked but they weigh nothing and don't take up much space

I kind of agree with you guys, do not buy a meme tent like mine unless quick setup/pack down is important to you. That's this thing's gimmick + bombproof durability. I can be in the tent in under 5 minutes if I hurry. Do not use a bivvy unless you're forced to, though. I think the best motorcycle sleep system right now is actually that Haven XL lay-flat hammock, can be set up as a hammock or can work as a tent in the middle of places like the desert with no trees.

This x100. I would literally rather die than have an unlicensed do-gooder make their best effort to save my life. The legal aspect makes it even more icky. Trauma kits should be illegal to purchase unless you can show proof of qualification by an accredited body and annual recency of practice. My sister lost her leg in a trauma kit accident and I wouldn't wish that on anyone.

I have a shitty Chinese moped and after a couple weeks torrentious rain, this happened. What's the best way of removing this rust without destroying the paint around it? Most of the rust is on elements that are painted some matte silver color, there's some on a single element that has some faux chrome paint. I'll post that below this.

Depends on the chain itself, how hard you ride it and what's your personal tolerance for chain slack. Giving it a calibrated kick every ~1000 km is good practice, but you probably won't have to tighten it that often.

I put a lubricated chain on about 4k ago and I've only had to tighten in once in that time, and I'm pretty sure that was just because I initially set it too loose.

I'm baffled. Everyone praises Tenere, but for me it's just a shitty bingo in an utterly confusing package:
- it looks like a big dual sport, but once you get stuck it is too heavy to move the way I'd move my ds & sumo bikes;
- its seat appears wide and firm enough to provide the right kind of sitting comfort, but after a while I feel pressure points where I don't want to feel them;
- it has cool adjustable suspension, but no matter how I adjust the shock I get an unpleasant ride on bumpy roads;
- the handlebars seem to be at a perfect height when I sit on it, but when I ride my right thumb slowly goes numb as if they are too high.
I begin to think that after testing remaining ADVs I'll suddenly become a supersport guy just because fuck it, I'm not satisfied with the offerings.

Have fun, use plenty of lube.

By the way, about piss twins: every single piss twin I tried so far behaved jerky at low revs. CP2 is relatively smooth, but still occasionally unhappy under 2k.
V85TT remained smooth regardless of revs.
It's funny how a bike that feels ultra shaky at stoplights can be the smoothest when you ride it.

You know that the sportster s with the 1250 makes as much power as the vrod but less weight and shorter wheelbase

Just took my R1 home from the dealer.

>>
>>27638326
You can find niggles with every machine, most of that sounds like skill issue or fixable with the very basic of mods.
>>
>>27638326
Crazy how subjective it is. Sure it's big and heavy but I can muscle it out of snags, I love the stock seat, the stock suspension is fine for my weight, and ergonomics were fixed with risers foe ne

only really works for screw-type adjusters (rare these days); original picture guy looks like shim-over-bucket type. you'd need too big a hole to maneuver those around; you'd just end up with 4 unwieldy covers and 4 gaskets to deal with rather than 1
