Pictures you can smell
It's a shame these are so rare to hear and smell in the city. They always had a distinctive smell to them that was different from a normal 4 stroke diesel.
>>27768708The airport I fly out of has started offering 94UL, which apparently works just fine in piston engined aircraft. It’s still $1/g more expensive, and Idk if I fully trust it, but not gonna lie I’m pretty close to making the jump. Not a fan of getting leaded fuel all over my hands every time I sump my tanks.

>>27769129Man I get way too excited when I spot an old two stroke Detroit. They’re getting rarer and rarer these days. Spotted one in an old road reclaimer that was painted yellow but the arrow logo caught my eye. I think it was a 3-53 like you posted

>>27771704I love the smell of my VW Mk4, but this one is really good too
>>27771704My sister's 2006 Mercedes always smelled like crayons. That was a nice car.
>>27768708>>27769362I was way too young when they banned leaded gas to remember the smell, what's it like? Is there any difference between the old car gas and the modern aviation gas?
