So, the throttle body on my Titan died. Found a replacement and its fixed. Cool. My autism however makes me google the part numbers of all parts I take off my vehicles. Turns out the old throttle body is a no brand name Chinese throttle body and not OEM. My truck had a manufacturing defect that required a new short block to be ordered. So, it looks like either, the dealership or the tech who did the swap, stole my OEM throttle body and replaced it for a Chinese one. A OEM throttle body for a Titan is around (quoted at) $900, the Chinese one installed on my truck is $130 off Alibaba. Someone probably made a few hundred buck selling my OEM throttle body on ebay. Also, one time, I was out of town and stopped at a dealer for an oil change. When I got the truck back the service tech insisted my brakes were shot and told me I needed new pads and rotors. My pads and rotors were fine. Truck only had 15k miles on it and not used or towing/hauling. I only bought the truck because of the pandemic shortages, not to actually use it for its purpose. Now at 50k miles with same pads/rotors and still fine. Also, sister use to own a murano and a dealer told her that her entire suspension system front and back needed replaced and quoted her $3600. Took it to a friend's shop and he said it was all good.Fuck Nissan. Biggest fucking jew/negroid scammers ever. Never buy a Nissan./End blog

the vk56vd in that truck is known for oil burning too lol. that's what you get for buying a truck from and OEM that only commands less than 2% of that market.

>>27773903Their older Euro cuckovers are notorious for wearing out faster than fucking Kias. Not quite as bad as some Renaults or Dacias on the same Renault-Nissan platforms, but still pretty bad. Ferd tier. They were crazy popular around 10 years ago, having pretty good features and practicality for the price. Now they're starting to disappear off the streets. Almost half of those old Nissans are reportedly rejected in vehicle inspections. Maybe they're getting sold to Romania or something.
