F10 close second (best kidney grilles, traditional halos, awkward 'cheekbones')

F10 best (best proportions, nice taillights)
F90 close second (nice but kinda blobby taillights, weird lower area, trunk slope too steep)
G90 distant third (taillights are ok, bumper is horrible, too blocky, ugly jowels, steeper trunk slope, decent spoiler)

F90 best (F10 motor with several technical updates to fix any issues)
F10 second (first hot-V V8 so a few issues but still fast and awesome)
G90 distant third (detuned F90 motor with gay hybrid system you'll never charge)

>performance
F90 best (objectively peak BMW performance, fastest and lightest of the three)
F10 second (a bit slower than F90 plus no AWD or ZF8)
G90 third (slower than F90, much slower with uncharged battery, 1100+ lbs heavier than both)

i won't compare the interiors until i sit in a G90 but a few points from the press release:
- the removal of the shifter means it is likely garbage and i will probably hate it.
- i've sat in a few other latest gen BMWs with the wraparound cluster and i very much dislike it as well. feels like a kia - they have the same thing as well as ford and many others.
- the steering wheel in the G90 looks like a slight upgrade over the F90.
- the ridiculous interior colors are not befitting of a 5 series, those should have stayed with the M2/3/4.

a few notes about options:
- carbon ceramics shouldn't still be optional on a 5400lb car.
- bowers and wilkins being standard is nice, it was a must have option imo.
- carbon roof was standard on the F90, from what it sounds like it will be a $$$ upgrade on the G90, again horrible considering the weight gain.

from what i've seen so far the only redeeming part of the G90 is the new trunklid M5 badge. that looks pretty sweet and i will probably replace mine with one.

this is the only thing I truly take issue with in your post. F10 ass is worse imo than g90, but steels are entirely appropriate for non-track use and there are very good reasons to not want carbon brakes on a sedan

The F90 clears the others in this category, with the G90 being a distant third.
The brilliance of the G30/F90 lies in BMW's "hidden" signature design feature. Everybody knows about the kidney grille, the twin headlights and the Hoffmeister kink. What people don't usually notice is the shoulder line.
But they should, because the shoulder line in the G30/F90 is genius. Usually you only have one, but in the G30, BMW decided to have two for extra muscle. The first runs through the side of the vehicle as usual, connecting with the door handles and the tail lights and running parallel to the window. Classy BMW design, I'd expect nothing less.
But the second? Above the first, it diverges from it, running toward the window and around the Hoffmeister Kink, highlighting it even further. The line then converges with the window afterwards. That's right, motherfucker. The XM and the G82 M4 got zero kinks, the G30 has one with EXTRA BASS.
But besides mogging the other M models by having this feature standard on the regular G30, the F90 builds upon it with that great side grill, tying the lines together and giving it an origin. You can even see a third line coming from that piece if you look at the way the light hits the driver door.
As far as modern cars go, the F90 is peak timeless design and will age extremely well. Schizo G90 could never compare.

which looks great on the Z4 aswell. too bad that initial ground reflection doesn't get picked up by a line in the rooker panel. Regardless I raise you the angle magic headlights on the g90. theyre not boomerangs like say on the first gen CLS that get steeper over the fenders but they level off more horizontally from the sideview, look like a straight line from front 3 quarter and like boomerangs from the front. see if I can find a pic showing the illusion.

I had not noticed this before, very interesting.

The headlight design is a very interesting conversation to have, BMWs usually have a downward line at the edge, which gives the car a more sober look. The illusion you mention makes it appear like the G90 doesn't feature it (like the E60 also didn't) until you look at it from the front.
