Funny how every age group thinks cars from when they're 18-25 years old is the peak of automative design.
It's just a coincidence right?

Because you're a zoomer who spends all his time interacting on the internet with millenials and gen Xers

I think everything made from when I was 18-25 is shit. I think most enthusiasts go for the cars they adored when they were kids.
>>
I'm in my 20s now and I think 80s and 90s cars were the peak of design
>>

Sure, i think there are several non objective reasons you could like a certain era of cars.
Your childhood is defined by being amazed at certain things in the media or perhaps your dads sports car.
But later on in life like your early 20s, perhaps you have fond memories driving your girl around town in a car that was modern then. Maybe thats when you had the most fun in life.
I really see posts here saying shit like "2006... now THAT was the peak of cars!" like what the fuck?

I like cars from that era
>>

It was 2007. King Nigger ruined cars.
>>
>>27771801
the 1950s and 1960s were the peak of automotive design.
>>
22 right now
I think cars from when I was 1 to 10 were peak because 2000s cars looked fucking sweet. That being said there is still some cool stuff being made today
>>
>>27771801
But I was 25 years old a year ago and I don't think cars from 2023 are the peak of automotive design.
>>
>>27771801
I don't feel that way at all
>>
>>27771801
Every car I've ever seen released in my lifetime has been scam boomer bullshit. Every person high up in the car industry should be executed immediately.
>>
>>27771801
I don't think this at all. In fact I think the exact opposite. I also think you're an idiot.
>>
I’m 21. The best cars were from the 80s to early 2000s. I would never feel nostalgic for the fucking blobs on wheels being released today. There are no rose tinted glasses, majority of cars made back then are better

I’m 52 and lived through the shitty domestic us cars of the 70s and 80s.
80s were okay (styling was cool but quality was still poor and no real performance).
There’s stuff to enjoy in most car generations (even today) so keep an open mind but yeah there’s a lotta dogshit now AND then but nobody remembers the old dogshit stuff
>>
>>27774507
I'm 53 and this anon is a faggot.
Any way, 64 - 73 was peak automobile, the government ruined everything thereafter.
>>
>>27775698
Dear fellow pole smoker, yes there were some cool cars in the era you mentioned (which were conveniently priced for shitbox hooning by the late 70s/80s) but there was also better stuff than the 80s too. C4 vette, a60 Supra, rx7, hurst olds, 5.0 mustang GT, GN/gnx, iroc z, 300zx turbos, 944/928, Mitsubishi starion, Shelby glhs, fiero GT, m3, mr2 …. Digital dashes and t-tops everywhere.

Fuck bro if you didn’t enjoy that time then you weren’t even living.

Man I’d go back in a heartbeat.
>>
I'm 30 and cars peaked in general in about 1998 and stylisically in about 1970
>>
>>27771801
I think cars made 55-75 years before were the peak of automotive design.
Cope. Modern design sucks.
>>
>>27771801
Huh, I do think the 2013/14 mustang is the greatest looking car of all time. Interdasting.
>>
50's-early 70's - Peak of Automotive Design (US). Reliability, ehhhhh...
Late 80's-early 90's - Best Balance between design, Reliability, and Technology. Simple MPFI systems, hard to diagnose sometimes. (Primarily imports, especially Japanese)
Late 90's-Mid 2K's - Decent reliability and simplicity, peak of MPFI, design is hit or miss (bubbly Ford Taurus vs. 6th gen Accord Coupe)
Everything after is all gookshit and angry eyes
>>
>>27771801
I'm 26 and I think the best period of automotive design was 1955-1972, mechanically and stylistically across the globe. This is a retarded take.
