Unironically I would like to see a breakdown on brand ownage, the charger situation for every EV is horrible except for Tesla cars: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=92w5doU68D8

sisters how do we glue it back on after getting it chopped off

60% of all US fast chargers are Tesla and you're gonna pay a premium if you charge as a non-Tesla driver. But overall the charging situation is worst in America. China and Europe have way more. It's not that EVs are dead but rather that there need to be more investments in infrastructure and that Tesla has a huge market share in that segment, fucking the other car companies in the ass.

Chargers are only part of the problem. It will be fine for those who lease and they improve them. People though who bought will find their used electric car to be worthless in around 10 years. After that a battery replacement can cost as much as 1 if not 2 new BYD Seagul electric cars.

First it was smartphones, then it was SSDs, now it's EVs. I wonder when these luddites will learn they can't stop progress.

No you're not. Tesla drivers paid for their chargers to be built. Non-Tesla owners are simply paying fair share to use it.
>>
>>27777841
In fact, almost every EV charging charges more for non-Tesla owners than Tesla charges for non-Tesla owners to charge at Tesla chargers. Thats the insane part. Even though non-Tesla chargers are 100% paid for by tax payers, while Tesla chargers are paid for by Tesla car buyers.

EV realities:
Charging isn't a big deal along 95.
If you don't have a garage, and don't have free charging, it's going to be expensive and inconvenient.
You'll probably need to install a subpanel, since your breaker will probably be full.
If you don't have 200A service, it might be expensive to fix.
Charging from 120V doesn't do shit.

>Payment is still a nightmare at EV charging stations worldwide (not sure how you fuck up something as simple as this in 2024).
>Charging with a fast charger still takes 30 mins; probably longer since you’ll fuck around at the rest stop with food, window shopping bathroom breaks, etc. and then lose track of time.
>it’s not really any quieter than a normal car inside
>>
>>27777268
The smart EV driver will travel with a 5000+ watt inverter generator.

>Charging stations are a pain in the ass to monetize.
>They all want costumers to download their gay ass App to tie your bank accounts to their service.
>Installation cost is high if local power grid cant handle demands.(most of the US)
>People treat them like shit so they break all the time.
>They end up costing costumers more than petrol fuel because of maintenance and overhead.
>>
>>27777268
They should buy agasoline generator and keep it in the trunk.
>>
>>27778221
Volt and the new Mazda with a rotary generator are the future, why people deny it and go full battery only EV is a wonder. Even GM cucked out and dropped hybrids.

uhhhhhh what game?
