I-95 was a mistake.
>>
It's OK in Maine and the Carolinas, but yes most of it sucks ass. If you can believe it, there was a time before the Great Replacement that it was pretty nice. Boston and NYC always sucked, but the rest was pleasant to drive. Now it's just 2,000 miles of nigger-jeet death race.

The shitty thing is just how beat to shit the road itself is. There's not much to be done about it of course, there's just too many vehicles and trucks especially, but it is so bad to travel even if you have the whole road to yourself
>>
I long for the day I get to see fast movers over I-95

Kindly go fuck yourself

what is actually wrong with 95, use it every day and it is mostly fine, worst I can complain about is sometimes there are retards that don't get out of the passing lane, but I tend to find those to be the exception

thats the ring outside of atlanta you uncultured retard

>It's OK in Maine
lol that's because nobody goes north of Boston unless they're on business.

>and the Carolinas
Because people who are passing through can take I-85 which runs roughly in the same direction through the Carolinas. That all changes when you hit Petersburg in VA, though, and you're all forced back into fellating the BBC of I-95.

I fly fish with my father in maine, and I am only in the boston area on 95 when I'm working.
>>
>>27834065
85 can be taken down to durham but then it gets retarded and starts going west

>go any speed you want in any lane
>$66.66 to go from golden glades to downtown during traffic hours
>road surface bad enough to knock fillings out of your teeth

Interstates are some of the most dull fucking riding you can possibly do. I've found very few of them to ever be worth taking over a backroad or old highway. Only trade off is adding potentially 30m-1h to your travel time.
>>
>>27827405
I drive 95 more than probably anybody on this board besides truckers and mules. From Boston to Florida. 95 is a passable roadway from Boston to NC. The very SECOND you get into SC, 95 becomes the most fucked up, undrivable, crater ridden, heap of asphalt known to man. It single-handedly killed most of the suspension on my w202. When it comes to the drivers on the road it’s shitty the entire way through
>>
>>27834262
It's dependent on how far south and how far into the coast you're going. Like I said, if you're just passing through the Carolinas, I-85 helps alleviate some of the traffic pressure on I-95 and not a terrible option to get on it as soon as possible and then take whatever state and US routes can get you to where you're going.
>>
>>27834482
I-55 South through Arkansas at sunset is pretty kino.

I hate the Carolinas I95 stretch, especially South.

495 was a mistake and a sign that they needed to start constructing two level highways for through traffic back in the 90's. the cross bronx is another great example of this, its currently being used as their main street and as the main transportation line on the east coast. i don't know philly well but I'm sure there's parts of 95 that should be double layered there too.

and rain!

I never knew what traffic was until I got on I-10 during their evening commute. It took me an hour to go 10 miles.

Same. GA smells like sewage for a significant portion too

>>27835375
VA is not awful since the road is passable. South of that, it degrades big time. CT is mad boing and NY is bad just because of the GW and the Tap. The pike is really good though desu idk what youre talking about

One of the great shames of me living here: The roads in general. I-20 is no better. The same bridge has been under construction for 3 years and I wish I was exaggerating.
