It's OK in Maine and the Carolinas, but yes most of it sucks ass. If you can believe it, there was a time before the Great Replacement that it was pretty nice. Boston and NYC always sucked, but the rest was pleasant to drive. Now it's just 2,000 miles of nigger-jeet death race.

Like I said, if you're just passing through the Carolinas, I-85 helps alleviate some of the traffic pressure on I-95 and not a terrible option to get on it as soon as possible and then take whatever state and US routes can get you to where you're going.
