>ported K24A1 head
>TSX pistons so i can run cams
>mystery cams i got off ebay
>MY2007 ECU with adapter harness and KTuner (costs more than the entire car)
>Stock K24A4 block
>Aliexpress intake manifold
>J37A4 electronic throttle body
>short ram (hot air) intake
>stock automatic transmission with manual torque converter locker and external arduino-based TCU
>sound system for EDM and hearing loss
>TSX mirrors
Makes like 170hp at 6500rpm and an enormous roar of intake noises.

There's something extremely cozy about older trucks. I'm fighting the urge to try and rebuild an old F-150 or something.

I have another car I want to build first. I think the debate right now is that I know an F-150 is going to be easier, due to them being ubiquitous and you can pretty much build a working truck just by visiting junk yards.

i had a pinhole leak and didn’t know, was driving 4 hours back home through the AZ desert when i blew the head.

pulled the rod caps off when i was cleaning up my bottom end and the bearings looked great for 100k, torqued everything down and sent her home.

it’s been over 100* every day here in socal and she hasn’t skipped a beat, running the AC at all times.
>>
>>27831471
that thing is sweet, had no idea AE92s came with a sunroof.

i slammed mine on china coils so i’m not doing much jumping but i do a lot of E-brake pulls cause why not.
>>
>>27831537
Rod bearings don’t ever wear, it’s cylinder bores, rings, valves and valve seats
Bottoms ends never wear, top ends do
>>
>>27831546

Head studs make the engine smoother and more efficient. They increase torque in the midrange leading to better acceleration and fuel economy. Head studs are also lighter than bolts. Lower mass in front makes the car understeer less leading to far better road holding

Getting used parts are much cheaper as there are a ton of these trucks but there isn't the demand for them like there are for Fords and Chevys, practically giving them away.

Look at that metal intake. The tasteful thickness of it. Oh my God, it even has a carburetor...

my other car is a '18 Miata
When I have to finally give this Camry over to mom I am thinking of replacing it with a CR-V or some other soulless crossover.

Can't be arsed to go outside and take a pic but I alternate between a clapped out Mk4 GTI with a few simple mods and a TDI Passat with a few simple mods.

The wheels were a Marketplace find, I really like how they look on there with the wider than stock tires.

I always get blown out by you car chads and have nothing but respect for you all. I have no idea how cars work, I drive one from A to B and do nothing more with it. I can change a tire and that's it.
I'm a medicore academic that reads books all that and exercises when I can, I am not a mans man in the slightest. All of you seem like the pinnicle of useful to me though, good on you all.
