To the anons who have installed lithium car batteries on their car?
Is the price worth it? Does it make it any difference in the seasons? Should I wait until the prices continue to fall?

I've installed one on my bike, its lasted 3 seasons which is 2 seasons longer than the last 2 AGM batteries lasted.

It'll shave a little weight, good for high current draw applications, also smaller for the equivalent load capacity as a lead acid. I think it's better for specific use cases, plus you need a special charger.

If you leave the car for like 2 weeks with out driving it the battery can completely die too. You have to keep it on charge of you ever go away basically.

Do you use a trickle charger in the winter? How cold does it get?
