Looking at either a Corolla hybrid or rav4 hybrid. I have a long biweekly commute 100+/- miles. Family is telling me I should buy a Camry se or rav4 xle for 10k ($33k respectively) then what I can get the 24 Corolla for (24k otd). Is there any reason I should look at anything other then the Corolla?

old town car or lexus ls400 is cheaper and comfier
>better reliability than nushit car of any make
>fuel cost is higher but again, car is 1/3 price of nu
>replacement parts are available and not on backorder and you can wrench yourself, few electroshits to get in your way
>>get 1 of each and wrench on whichever one is broken "more"
>>>and have a backup car just in case you know
>>>>and insurance companies/gubmint can't spy on you
>>>>>and the bank doesn't fucking OWN you through finance
>>>>>>and resale value stays constant
>>>>>>>and you get to stick it to the corpos, governments, diversity hires etc by not buying postmodern slop
