>nO oNe'S bUyInG eVs. Weird cause I saw 5 Mach-Es outside a random medical building this morning. Maybe you all just live in really poor areas.
>>27834184Almost half my neighbors have EVs lol. After getting solar its almost a no brainer.
Yeah well I just saw 20 trucks in a field. Shit was cash

>>27834192>spend tens of thousands of dollars on solar panels that will go bad in 10 years so you can save a few bucks per year on electricity>spend tens of thousands of dollars on an EV that will go bad in 10 years so you can save a few bucks a year on fuel>neither scenario will ever pay itself off but at least you can fit in with other soi larpersNo brainer indeed
EVs are for poorfags in my country due to tax exemption and lower import fees. L.

>>27834226Bro there's no excuse for being so retarded now, you can just ask chatgpt to run the numbers. The higher up front cost of the EV will pay itself off before an ICE that's half the price before 10 years
I don't understand the push for pure EV. Outside of select states or city hubs the infrastructure just isn't there for people who actually drive to places beyond work and groceries. Hybrid seems like a much better trade off. Good mpg, but unlimited range with gas that is everywhere. Meanwhile you go into the boonies with an EV and you have to route your entire trip around where a charge (may) be and hope no one else is using it or it's working. Seems like a real pain. If you're just staying local though I could understand a plug-in ev that you charge each night at home.

>>27834284The tax credits are a one time deal, unless you're trading in every year, and (at least in the US) have many strings attached to qualify properly. Almost none of them give you rebates or subsidized you in any way.
why are murican streets so weird? can you not fix them properly?
