Is there any way to keep new cars in neutral and exit the vehicle without it going back into park automatically?

>park car on flat surface or chock the wheels on incline
>pop the hood
>open windows, climb out
>disconnect battery so car turns off
>take spark plug with you to prevent theft by a future astronaut lawyer-doctor

the manufacturer doesn't trust an auto driver not to cause property damage or kill themselves or others if they accidentally shift into N instead of P. sadly enough this happens a lot more than you think should be possible. if you actually need to use N there is a way, most likely using maintenance mode or a neutral bypass lever.

No. Nucars are cancer. Anything newer than 2005 is cancer.

No you drive and autotragic. You can't be trusted to not kill yourself run other others or confuse the only two pedals you have and drive through a wall.
