Furthermore, the lateral forces exerted on the front tires during turning as well as the weight transfer during braking both compound with the added weight in the front of a truck.For anecdotal evidence, my MR2 has a weight distribution of roughly 35/65. I've gone through two sets of rear tires while the fronts are still on their first set, with just a little over half worn. And that's even with all the understeer MR2s are prone to.tl;dr just rotate your tires and you won't have an issue

Fronts are being scrubbed by high center mass and body roll coupled with typically large sidewalls that roll over and eat the sides of the tires out. I burn through 2 sets of rears before fronts and I take my truck through the mountain roads and twisties all the time, as well as taking corners 20+mph over their limit because it's built to. I destroy front tires, but I trash rears way quicker with the trutrac and 3 times the power it had stock
