anyone else played "crashy cars" when they were a kid?>be me>4 years old, circa 1996>play "crashy cars" with my siblings>basically, we go to opposite ends of the hallway with toy cars and launch them forward so they crash into each other>one day we get super nice 1/24 diecast replicas, mine was a gt40>play crashy cars with them>launch them at each other>the gt40 fucking explodes on impact>a humongous shard of really solid plastic flies right into my fucking forehead>i start bleeding like a bitch (i later found out the cut was 0.8 inches deep)>have to go to the hospital and get stitches>the doctors did a rat shit job so i have a weird scar now>whenever people ask about it i have to say i got it from crashy carsgod i loved me some crashy cars

I was a Hot Wheels: Acceleracers fan as a kid (and still as an adult), and one car out of my massive collection, a diecast Reverb, I played that game with a lot. Most of the decals rubbed off over time and it as some scratches. Now imagine my shock now when that car is worth (out of the box) >$100.Thinking about getting it restored at some point.
