What is your attainable dream family car? >no coupe allowed
i could buy it now if i wanted to. i already have a car and would be cumbersome to store it.
>>27976501The Ford Tourneo Courier is a small van built on the Mk6/Mk7 (depending where you are) Fiesta chassis. They were available with either 1.0 EcoBoost or 1.5/1.6 TDCi diesels, but there's a shop in England that does ST200 1.6 EcoBoost swaps into them. That's my dream family car-- basically a Fiesta ST van.
CX-80> 7 seater> RWD bias AWD PHEV at 327 hp> Class leading interior> Sub 60k eur here
soon....
>>27976608Ford should be bitch slapped for not doing this sooner, or not continuing the falcon cars on the mustang platform.
>>27976526What's the difference between CX 80, and CX 90 and CX 70? We have the latter two in America. Huge misstep by Mazda making the CX 70 the same size as the CX 90 except with a third row delete. We thought it would be smaller, like in between a CX 50 and a CX 90 (which the name suggests)
>>27976608In theory V8 + sedan should sell well, after all, people can't just live with a coupe, they need a single car solution. But in practice, these don't sell well. The expectation is "best of both worlds"The reality is unfortunately "worst of both worlds"
>>27976616The CX-90/70 are 12.5 cm (5 in) longer and 10 cm (4 in) wider. I think Mazda thought of making the CX-70 a longer/wider version of the CX-60, but it was probably cheaper/easier to just rebadge a CX-90 with a third row delete, also knowing that americans wouldn't mind a very large 2 row crossover.
>>27976629>In theory V8 + sedan should sell well, after all, people can't just live with a coupe, they need a single car solution. >But in practice, these don't sell well.what about the charger? I see tons of RTs and 392s
>>27976501Dream attained
>>27976694I feel like that's an exception to the rule because of how much hype there is around that car in particular. I just feel like it'll end up like the chevy ss
>>27976501A super clean Burb or Yukon XL 2500 with a Duramax or Cummins swap.
sad they don't make vehicles like this anymore
E10 Corolla Liftback. Ideally the 4A-FE version.
>>27976608They need to just revive the fucking Crown Vic at this point
>>27978252Based. I think the Citroen version is probably my wife's dream car too. I wouldn't mind to have one with Dangel 4x4.
>>27978246Man people back then really raised entire families in subcompacts. Its harder and worse for sure compared to normal sized cars, but still its possible.
>>27976501X3 M40i. Or RS7.
>>27976501I'm 38 and single. I'm never having a family.
>>27978746>back thenI know people that raised their 3 kids in vw polos and Citroen c3s and when you tell them you would like something roomier for your two kids they look at you strange.
>>27978778Same kek. The "dream" for me is the family itself, not the "car." >>27978806>would like something roomier for your two kidsI wouldnt give a shit what people say or call me, if i have to drive a crossover because its easiest for me and most comfortable for my kids, that's what im doing.
will either hold out for the stang 4 door, or risk it with the facelift GLI or a used Q50S>>27976694cheap financing and police forces dumping the chargy bargy for mexiditions/exploders is why you see so many chargers on the road. they are relatively reliable, so that helps too
>>27976501my waifu currently is renting one of those to go on a trip. She says the toyota suv is better
>>27978746I'm european, so the corolla doesn't really scream "subcompact" to me. It's just a regular family car.my family went Škoda 105 -> VW Polo Classic -> Toyota Corolla Verso, as we went from 1 -> 2 -> 3 kids.
>>27976501'03 Lincoln Navigator
>>27976629>worst of both worldsIs called a crossover and has basically taken over the whole market
>>27976501I think I might LS swap an e class Merc someday. Or get a 5er touring once it's old enough I can legally import it to 'the land of the free.'
>>27979672Yeah corolla isnt subcompact in america either, just a normal compact car, but my point is that, families were even raised in 2 door coupes, with a bit of struggle getting in and out! They make did with what they had
This or a 911.

>>27978806When I was born my dad had a Celica, and me and my brother didn't feel uncomfortable in it. If anything, it made me hate normie cars (like nowadays crossovers)

>>27980995And yet my E39 is faster, more luxurious, and better looking than your murican made weeblet pikachu truck kek
For me, it doesn't get any better than this
>>27979888Do you get the Mazda3/Miata or is it just the crossovers?

>>27982672Yes, the Mustang Mach-E. They are, atleast in BC, I see far too many.
>>27983094What's the thing in the center? Never seen it before
>>27976780I think it'll do well because the charger got put out of production and the new one is a TT6 and not a v8. Plus it weighs like 5k lbs.
>>27980068>My cousin had a baby at 43That baby's gonna be retarded
>>27983094That's good; I'd hate to see Mazda be a crossover only brand. I've always liked them

>>27981114>Diesel A7Yeah this one's pretty hard to beat. You can also safely tune them for an extra 50hp and 80ft/lbs just through software, not that they're particularly slow to begin with.
>>27981114You can sometimes find these in the US but they're hard to come by.
