Your mind will be blown how tough it is to drive "in a circle" at racing speed.

Trans Am racing had some of the prettiest racing schemes.
>>28002259even in those races where the cars get spread out, there is a lot going on and if you know what to look for they're still pretty interesting. on those tracks the drivers need extremely precise throttle and brake control to maintain momentum as the tires wear and fuel burns and you can see who has it and who doesn't. those races really reveal the gulf of skill between the drivers.tv coverage really makes it seem dull when you can't watch a fast guy weave his way around the backmarkers while battling with the positions ahead or behind him. biggest problem with nascar is that it's very hard to make look exciting on tv. the only way to understand is to try and drive it in a sim or watch onboards.
