What is the best sedan on the market currently?>no hybrid>no EV>no CVT>FWD, AWD permissible, RWD preferred >mid size preferred My top pics are:>Lexus ES>Cadillac CT5 >Audi A4/A5
>>28071757F-150 5.0.
The outgoing (B9 generation) Audi S4/S5 has fully mechanical AWD, a bulletproof ZF8 trans and one of VW's more reliable turbo enginesThe interior is pretty traditional, only gripe is the screen stapled to the dash, but at least it can be turned off with just a button when you're not using itThey are still made in Germany for all markets, too, unlike US market BMWs which are often made in Mexico

>>28071767If anyone's interested in the A4/5 series, they should grab them now before they get replaced with ones with screen vomit next year. It's the last of its gen so they're well-equipped as well.
>>28071767>>28071772Good points, thanks. I also like the A5's sportback design. Makes it really practical.
>>28071757Id KMS if those were my options
>>28071930then whats a better option
>>28072033A half ton pickup truck.
>>28072039-.-
>>28071757>2025 Jetta GLI2024 was last year of manual base model Jetta, now it's a performance trim $10k mark up
Honda Civic
>>28072086>>28072091FWD is not preferable, really would like a car that makes me feel like its built from the ground up to be something fun to drive and also premium. Not just the highest trim of an economy car.
>>28072086I had a rental Jetta for a week.it's such a peak norm mobil.don't get me wrong, it was one of the nicer rental I ever got and it looked good inside and out ( surprisingly)but I wouldn't really like to own one.
>>28072096buy some niggershit BMW or Stellantis product and fuck off already
>>28071770E39 > any goyotaCaptcha X0000X
>>28071757It's a shame that modern cars suck so hard. I have a Model S and I've been wanting to go back to gas because I like the sound but no other sedan is as quick as an EV and the acceleration is just too good to give up. The only one I think that comes close is the previous gen M5 but they're still so expensive and I worry greatly about the maintenance costs.
>>28071757What is wrong with CVT? It is the best technology out there when it comes to transmissions. I love my CVT and its really smooth with no strange shifting feel
>>28072096>I need special snowflake status for a daily commuterElantra n
>>28071757>>no EVWhyAll the biggest budgets in the automotive space are going into EV development nowadays.
>>28072315Why not have electric for daily driving and gas for occasional driving?
>>28072096Lucid Air
>>28072382Because I want to have fun all the time. I always daily drive sports/sporty cars. I hate driving boring cars.
>>28072387Then you're going to have to deal with all the shortcomings of daily driving on gas. There's a reason EVs are praised for their daily drivability. They simply dominate that field.I believe Unplugged Performance makes a suspension kit for your Model S if you want a full sports car experience.
>>28071757BMW 3/4 series, easily. Bulletproof drivetrains, efficient as fuck, and you can find them lightly used for decent prices all day since everyone just leases them.
>>28072406More like 5 series since I want a mid size sedan, but yeah also a good choice
