Is it any good for 13k euros? I've read bad stuff about the older ecoboost engines but these newer ones seem to be better.
>>
the fuck is a euros

I dailt drive one for work and I can tell you it's a rock solid car, even the most basic version comes with a lot of driving assistance systems which are very nice.
The first EcoBoost engines back in the 2010s were dogshit but they've improved massively. Of course /o/ will tell you their clapped out shitboxes from the 90s are better.

Should be okay the 1.0 ecoboosts are dog shit and you should avoid them, these seem fine in Fiestas
>>
1.5 Ecoboost is a good engine and the Mk.4 Focus is a very good car. I'd say go for it.
>>
Donno what your situation is, but 13k sounds little steep imo
Otherwise, heard no issues. But also probably too new to start seeing issues
>>
Don't all EcoBoost engines use a wet timing belt that is guaranteed to disintegrate as soon as the warranty runs out?
>>
>>28100885
Not the 1.6.

Shorthand for european boys. We deal in young european boys in europe, none of that dollar shit.
>>
It's a pretty good car, 13k it's a little pricey but I assume it's because of all the extras it may have.
That generation 1.5 EcoBoost doesn't have the infamous wet timing belt of the 1.0, but I do recall them having a wet SMOOTH accessory belt that's more accessible for repairs and less likely to disintegrate and wreck your engine like the toothed ones.
It has a lot of electronic bullshit but most of those can be disabled, especially the cylinder shut down thing at low rpms
Be mindful that the alternator of the Ecoboost engines will not fully charge your battery because of emissions bullshit so if you don't drive the car a lot or do only short trips you might need one of those smart battery chargers and charge the battery yourself every two or three weeks.

seems a bit much

>disintegrate and wreck your engine
oops. It won't you'll just won't have ac or some bullshit, the oil pump is driven by a gear

USG

It's a bretty gud engine unlike the 1.0
>>

>1.5 Ecoboost
it's a good engine, the 4th gen 1.5L has with a timing chain but still has a damn wet belt to drive the oil pump.
my recommendations are to have the oil pan removed and the wet belt checked out before buying, NEVER use engine flush, and always use the exact oil specified by the manufacturer.
>>
the 3-cylinder 1.5l is called 'dragon'
the pre-2019 units have a GEAR driven oil pump and timing CHAIN. post 2019 they regressed back to BELT driven oil pump, guaranteed to nuke your engine.
if the vehicle you eyeballed is from 2018 you're golden
