my 2016 vw golf has been Misfiring intermittently for a couple weeks. I put new spark plugs in but it's still just as bad.

I got 2 codes
one for the downstream O2 sensor
the other says "high pressure in cylinder 4"

what are your thoughts /o/? I know very little about cars but it sounds like either could be the cause of the misfires right?
>>
Should note the o2 sensor is the downstream code P0137 and I haven't gone in for the recent EVAP jet pump recall.

New plugs but no new coil packs yet. I get a misfire only like once a day where the car won't accelerate for a bit has a rough Shakey feeling and the EPC light comes on. After a bit it's back to normal.

bump so this lasts the night. slow board I know but just making sure

swap coils between 2 cyls
see if the misfire moves along with the coil

This, also, change all o2 sensors at the same time. Also, this would be a GDI car, when was the last time you cleaned it out?

I have actually never used intake cleaner. picked up some seafoam today going to try that and swapping the coil pack.

Seafoam isn't going to do shit unless you do it multiple times and risk fucking up the catalytic converters. You might need to be looking at walnut blasting.

Seafoam won't work as well as GDI specific cleaners unless you spray it in before the throttle body and follow the heat cycling instructions. The backside of the throttle blade all the way to the backside of the valves is going to be carboned up.

Get the GDI spray and follow the instructions, less likely to foul your sensors, something seafoam is notorious for.
