Mainly my MX5, which over 4 or so years has went from daily to track car, but anytime I buy a vaguely sport-oriented vehicle, I will run it on track at least once. Hopefully my next car will be TVR Griffith 500, and you can bet your bollocks to a barn dance that I'll be taking that on track.

It was made as a bike track and it almost exclusively is now (Talladega Gran Prix Raceway). Barber Raceway isn't going to let me on and Road Atlanta is too expensive. I'm fine to just redline and powerslide like a madman on the street, but I'm glad I got a good 20-25 hrs while they still did $250 track days with no rollbar requirement.

If you're in a mechanical field make a point about how you have a track car and race it. Hands on shit is like bread and butter for engineering managers because they hate explaining to fresh engineers that they have to redesign the entire thing for serviceability. Machinists make fuck all until they've been doing it a billion years because youre competing with literal children in china, and by the time you do make good money, the lung cancer from inhaling vaporized coolant and way oil for years isn't worth it. 3d cad monkeys exist by the billions in india, you gotta do better than that.

Too much money and too many retards allowed on track. Last open lap session I saw they had guys out on the track with a passenger and no helmets, windows down. Post-covid when they opened up again, abruptred into a fight on track, when pajeet decided to make up a 5 second gap in the braking zone right into ling Ling's Ranger rover (yes they let a fucking a truck on track, Ontario TMP never fucking again)

It has LSD, öhlins road and track suspention, big brake kit and all the fun stuff you need (950kg (2100 lb for you americans) and around 180hp). also fully street legal here in switzerland which is not that easy to get.
